Respiratory Therapeutic Line

The respiratory therapeutic line provides a broad range of possibilities that allow the health professional to use mucolytics, bronchodilators, and antihistaminic medications that, either by themselves or combined with antibiotics, will help your patient breathe better.

Anti-asthma

Everest® | Montelukast

It’s indicated in the treatment and prevention of symptoms or chronic asthma, either as monotherapy or as additional therapy in patients with mild to moderate persistent asthma that had been incorrectly controlled with inhaled corticosteroids; including prophylaxis of day and night symptoms, treatment of asthma patients sensitive to acetylsalicylic acid, and for the relief of the day and night symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and children over 6 months old.

Expectorant Antihistaminic

Sensibit XP® | Loratadine + Ambroxol

It’s indicated in the symptomatic relief of cough with phlegm and the cold. It also dissolves and eases the expulsion of phlegm in allergic respiratory processes linked to cough and expectoration, such as: allergic rhinitis complicated by sinusitis, rhinopharyngitis, pharynxtonsillitis, and bronchitis. It’s also indicated in the treatment of allergy related bronchopulmonary processes that involve an increase of mucous viscosity and that make it necessary to keep ventilation, as well as in therapy of patients with other conditions such as bronchiectasis, pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, atelectasis by mucous plug, tracheostomy, and pre and post operatory prophylaxis, particularly in elders whose ailments are suspected to have an allergic component.

Nasal Decongestion Antihistaminic

It’s indicated in the relief of symptoms related to allergic rhinitis, including nasal secretion, sneezing, rhinorrhea, clogged nose, watery eyes, or itching eyes, nose and throat.

Steroidal Anti-inflamatory

Levante® | Mometasone Furoate

It’s indicated in the treatment of symptoms caused by intermittent or persistent allergic rhinitis (previously classified as seasonal or perennial, according to the new classification proposed by the ARIA delimitations) of adults and children over the age of two. In patients with a history of moderate to severe signs of intermittent allergic rhinitis, prophylactic treatment with MometasoneFuroate is recommended during two to four weeks before the forecasted pollen season.

It’s indicated in the treatment of symptoms linked to adenoids hypertrophy in children and teenagers over the age of two, such as snoring, nasal congestion, oral breathing, rhinorrhea and post-nasal drip.

It’s indicated in the treatment of nasal polyps and associated symptoms, including congestion and hyposmia in adult patients over the age of eighteen.

Nimbus® | Fluticasone Propionate /Salmeterol

Steroidal anti-inflammatory and bronchodilator

It’s indicated in the regular treatment of reversible obstructive airway disease, including asthma in children and adults, as well as (when the combination of a bronchodilator and inhaled steroid is appropriate) patients under effective maintenance dose of prolonged action ß2 agonists and inhaled corticosteroids administered in separate inhalers.

 

Patients that continue to be symptomatic despite receiving inhaled corticosteroids. Patients regularly treated with bronchodilators that what to add inhaled corticosteroids. Also indicated for the regular treatment of chronic bronchitis and emphysema (COPD).

Presentations

Box with inhaler and 60 capsules with dose of: 100 µg/50 µg or 250 µg/50 µg or 500 µg/50 µg Fluticasone/Salmeterol. All the presentations include instructions.
