The ESR® (Socially Responsible Company) stands as a systemic process to measure and compare the development level of good practices of social responsibility through indicators in the environmental, social and governance (ESG) (ASG) fields of different companies. It is referenced with national legislation and international standards and contemplates the review of evidence to support the degree of compliance with social responsibility and sustainability of private companies, in order to accredit them with an icon of value that highlights and differentiates them from other companies operating in Mexico and Latin America.

CEMEFI´s purpose for awarding the ESR® Distinction is to encourage companies to undertake corporate social responsibility and sustainability actions that have a positive impact on society.
